I'm the boring guy always order the same three rolls at any sushi restaurant I go to. That being said, being from New West and having eaten at close to every single sushi restaurant in town (there are a lot), this place is my favourite. It's even priced a little bit lower than some of the more well known sushi restaurants in town which is a bonus. Anyone looking for sushi takeout in New Westminster, I will recommend to this place.

Unfortunately have to update my review here. New owners and the restaurant quality was just not up to par. Rice was hard and bones were in our salmon. Very sad our favorite sushi place went downhill

We did not have a good experience here. The service was non-existent and the food was not good. Sushi did not taste very fresh at all. We won't come back and we would not recommend.

This is one of the better sushi places in New West area. I have only tried the sashimi lunch bento box. It is value for money at $11.99 for lunch (till 4pm) with the amount of food you get.
The sashimi (Box B version) includes salmon, tuna, mackerel and octopus slices. They are pretty thick slices and are fresh. My go-to place for sashimi fix. The tempura is plenty with at least 6-7 pieces of crispy fried vegs and a prawn. The california roll has spicy sauce underneath it. Plus it comes with miso soup served in a cute little bucket bowl.
The service is friendly. They did not frown when we lingered there long after our food was gone. Granted, it was a slow afternoon that day. -

Great sushi place in the middle (downtown?) of New Westminster. Total hole in the wall.
Parking is available (metered) on the street, but there are plenty of free spots a block or two away.
The place looks fairly beaten up and dated. Guess they've been here for a while. Seems like a mom and pop operation.
The Sashimi Box B ($12) seems to be the best deal of the bunch. Plenty of food, and a decent amount of sashimi. Pieces could be a bit bigger (I did leave a wee bit hungry), but it's not a huge deal. The box comes with California roll, sashimi (salmon, tuna, saba, tako), tempura, salad, and tonkatsu. Something for everyone.
Definitely worth a trip out if one is in the area. Quite a few hidden gems in New Westminster. Recommended.
